Individual/Group Exhibits

Any individual, or group of individuals (members or non-members) can apply for their own show at the gallery. Here are a few requirements for such exhibits:

  • At least 75% of the pieces in a show must be for sale and all artwork is expected to remain up for the entire month, unless sold.

  • The gallery commission on sales is 25% for members in good standing (up-to-date in dues payment), and 30% for non-members.

  • There is a non-refundable $50 booking fee and a $10 refundable key fee for individual exhibits. These apply to both members and non-members alike.

Note: Artwork depicting nudity, acts of violence, or political messaging is not accepted for any exhibits.

Artists wishing to have an individual or small group exhibit should begin by checking the calendar of upcoming exhibits to see if there are any months available.

Individuals or groups interested in an exhibit will fill out an exhibitor application form, which contains additional information about putting on such an exhibit. Upon acceptance, the individual or individuals will complete an exhibit contract and work with the Artist Contracts/Exhibit Coordinator (ACEC) through the take down of the exhibit. Here is the contract for an individual artist, and here is the contract for up to four artists.

Here is a checklist to help guide one through the process of preparing to exhibit. As the exhibit draws near, the following paperwork should be prepared (by each artist, if more than one):
